My gift guide- Mapping it

I could probably go an entire month of things based on maps and their design. Maps now are adorning things such as plates, jewelry, and clothes. What I like, however is when people reinterpret the map using alternate information for the states/neighborhoods/streets.

This map by Stone Brown design for example.

I think there’s something really lovely and classic about the color choices (4 color choices here, by the way) and typeface used. Somehow it lessens the sting of the memories of being stuck in traffic on 28 in Massachusetts. I think my only problem with the map, is the choice of 18 for Pennsylvania, instead of the 76, but that’s probably just my hangup, right?
